Absolutely love this gun. This was my first Springfield and I am very pleased with it. I was a little disappointed/surprised that it was made in Croatia until I read the history of the XD as well as the people of Croatia. Now it doesn’t bother me. It feels good to hold and not a huge handgun but not small either. I was to find plenty of magazine for it including a 32 round which works great and is a blast to shoot

Like the Glock, the XDm is a polymer, semi-automatic pistol with a striker fired action and double stack magazine and retails for about the same price as a Glock. The particular model I used in my test was a standard XDm chambered for .45 caliber.
